No matter what I do I cannot import the .t20 2020 H&R block return into my H&R 2021. Resaved/ used small file names, clicked everything. Did get a .pdf import but that does not carry forryward tax lossess etc. so really want to do H&R file. H&R support is no help, just tell me it doesnt work and they dont guarantee you can import (from their own software!~!). Big Sur 11.6.4. Everything else works fine on cptr. Please help!

I had the same problem when trying to import 2020's data file from the import screen. I am using macOS Monterey. I then went to the File Menu and chose "Import Last Year's Data..." and it worked fine. Obviously a bug in the software.

Yes. Worked for me also. I had many calls into hR tech support but they don’t know this!
