Move to iOS. Repeated failed transfers. S10 to 13 Pro. Just messages.

I have tried this transfer a million different ways. If someone knows a different tool to use to transfer messages, I would love to know. The Verizon transfer app didn’t give me the option to transfer messages.

There is a step in the directions to connect to iPhone temporary WiFi but my Samsung s10 never displays any choices. Is that a problem? It seems to connect because both phones then proceeds to the step where I select the data to transfer, starts the transfer but it eventually fails every time at 1 min. I’m trying to transfer 1Gb of messages. I only care about the messages. I restarted the android. Reinstalled the move to iOS app. SIM card in. SIM card out. Airplane mode. What’s the secret to get this app to transfer?

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support and your Android, and then Move from Android to iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. Make sure to also look at the section titled "If you need help with the transfer".

You can also Move content manually from your Android device to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.
