Restrictions turn on by themselves (2nd try)

I first submitted this issue on 1/22/22. Someone replied with a bunch of questions and I have not heard from anyone since 1/24/22. Can anyone else help?!

I have Restrictions turned on for my kids but not on my own phone. It’s quite maddening when I randomly pick up my phone to discover Siri has been disabled and Restrictions have turned themselves on. As annoying as that is, it gets even worse. When I go into Settings and turn Restrictions off again, I find that all of my icons have been rearranged, moved to various screens, and/or out of the folders they used to be in. I’ve used these Restrictions for my kids for YEARS and haven’t ever had this problem. It’s happened multiple times in the last few months and it’s getting REALLY OLD. Has anyone else had this experience and how did you fix it?!

That should not happen unless you have some awful security apps installed or ios is corrupted.

First uninstall all security and VPN

Then turn off all Screen Time restrictions on all devices.

Then:

Backup, restore to factory, and restore from backup

If you can import your media to Photos or iTunes in a computer and copy important documents to a cloud server it will give you some resilience in case the restore from backup fails.
