iPhone 11 Pro Max not working

I got a new iPhone 11 pro max 2 days ago and the NFC reader doesn't seem to work. I simply tried to touch my phone with an NFC card (NFC visa debit card, NFC travel card and other NFC reader mode phones) but there was no trigger. There was no trigger at the NFC payment terminal at the train station. This problem existed before and after I installed the latest iOS update. What could be the problem and how can I get it to work?

NFC does not work on my iPhone I have the most up to date firmware 15.6.1 on iPhone XR, however I cannot scan NFC cards. I have tried NFC Tools and a variety of other apps but have had no success. Does the iPhone still even work as a NFC reader / writer. I've tried turning off and on, taking out of cover, resetting network settings and some other ideas, but no joy unfortunately.

NFC Reader Not Working in Iphone 7 Plus I am having the same issue as well. Has anyone solved this problem? I bought a device and tried to pair it with my iphone 7 Plus and it wont communicate via NFC Reader.The company said it works with i phone 7 plus.

iPhone 7 NFC Reader not working iPhone 7 works with ApplePay, but doesn't read NFC tags. Tried completely resetting phone and restoring from backup, without success. Running ios 13.3. Anyone else encountered this issue?
