apple pay update

Im trying to use my apple pay but it says that it is updating my cards. What does that mean and should i do something?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities.

Take a look at: Change or remove the payment cards that you use with Apple Pay - Apple Support.

If the issue persists, Restart your iPhone - Apple Support and make sure iOS is up-to-date: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.
