the number keys are not working on my new keyboard. what's wrong?

The number keys are not working on the keyboard that came with my new iMac 24. what do I need to do to correct?


iMac 24″, macOS 12.2

Maybe Mouse Keys is enabled.

Control the pointer using Mouse Keys on Mac - Apple Support


Try pressing the Option key five times.
