Edit IPhone Home Screen

Is there a way to make it more difficult to enter Home Screen edit mode? Currently all it takes is one finger held on an unlocked Home Screen for a second before the apps “jiggle.” This leads to many deleted or rearranged apps, and it’s pretty annoying. Help!

Please bring back the Home Screen Editor UI from iTunes and put it back in Finder The lack of UI for editing the app screens on your phone seems a bit excessive given how much time can easily be lost with the lack of an undo button and so many confusing ways in which you can move and arrange the screen of ones phone.

Edit Home Screen isn’t working I have the iPhone eight iOS 15 and when I hold down on an app it does not show up as edit Home Screen or delete app so I cannot delete or rearrange apps, add widgets etc. I have deleting apps on in settings and everything nothing is working

There is nothing to prevent this that you can change. Tell Apple about it here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple

Thanks for the reply. Feedback to apple sent, I’m not hopeful anything will change.
