Selected Alarm Sound Not Working (SOLVED)

I tried to respond to a post about the selected alarm sound not working and how it only plays the default. However it wouldn’t let me because the post was old.

I was having this issue but I figured it out! My alarm sound I selected was no downloaded through my music app. Once I downloaded it, the sound started to work.

SOLVED: the song you want to use needs to be purchased AND downloaded! download it through your music app.
