I have macbook air mid 2013. Will the latest Magic Keyboard be compatible with my computer?

Magic Keyboard compatibility with MacBook pro, Retina, 13 inch, early 2015? I see a few people have asked this seemingly straightforward question, but I see no clear answer. The current Magic Keyboard does not list Macbook Pro, Retina, 13 inch, early 2015, as a compatible device. (The Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad *does* list this as a compatible device. It should, it's just a keyboard. If not wirelessly for some reason, the charging cord is also a USB connection cable.
