Is shared location still visible on airplane mode?
if you turn on airplane mode, does that stop the person you're sharing your location with from seeing where you are?

Yes, Airplane Mode switch off all radio.
By default, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are disabled in airplane mode—you can’t make calls, but you can listen to music, play games, watch videos, and use other apps that don’t require network or phone connections.
