iTunes Synching problem between IPhone 13 Pro and iTunes on my MacBook pro (mid2010)

Dear All, Hi

Since I bought my iPhone 13 pro I cannot sync it with my iTunes library on my MacBook pro (Mid2010) High Sierra version 10.13.6. I even tried to sync my photos to mac photo app and when I trust the computer nothing happens. Of course the mac has all available updates. I tried to find out if I have the same issue with my windows desktop, but there is no problem. The main thing is that on my MacBook, iTunes cannot find my iPhone, and I get no message at all. Can anyone give me a heads up? I need to be able to sync to my Mac because I have all my apps and music and photos there, where I backed up all my previous iPhones.

If you see "Software update is required to connect to your iOS device" on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Has the above been presented as some time and been dismissed ?

There was some type of update to iTunes some time ago for this very purpose

Do come back to the Apple Support Communities ( ASC ) in the future, if / or when additional question may arise

See below picture of a " Call Home " to Apple Severs and specifically on my High Sierra the top most " Wifi Explorer " application. This was done via the suggested Automatic Update item all set that way.

The OS " Called Home " and found the update in the background. Hopefully will do the same on you machine given enough time.

Good day to you

Just for your info no update was made and the status is the same. I tried to connect again, when I opened iTunes one time the phone connected and after 5 seconds the connection disappeared. Also when I open photos to synchronize my iPhone photo album the app shows the iPhone connected, but I cannot do any synchronization. My last option is to move my library from MacBook to Windows pc and then do my back and sync. Anyways thanks again for your help.

to be honest I don't remember this, but for sure since I bought IPhone 13 pro, 4 months ago, no such message appeared when I connected it

Just checked iTunes 12.8.3.1 is the version I have on High Sierra 10.13.6 with all Security Updates installed.

Yes it is displayed but the latest iTunes (12.8.3) installation was on 2021-04-28 and the iTunes device support update was on 2019-06-07 old enough

Just checked and the box macOS updates wasn't enabled but I have already checked manually at the App store in the updates tab, and there is no update

Some of the updates are offered or installed in the background and only after the system has " Called Home " to the Apple Servers.

Ok , I just read that the latest iTunes device support update was on 2021 and mine is on 2019. But normally this update is done when you connect your iPhone, which didn't happen to me.
