Custom Pronunciation not working

I use the Spoken Content setting to read the page on screen. I made several custom pronunciations in the Spoken Content screen in order to allow Siri Voice 1 to be more accurate. In the custom pronunciation screen I can listen to the pronunciation to ensure it’s the way I’d like to hear it and it is. However, when I go to Pages to listen to my work again, the pronunciation is still incorrect. I have restarted my phone, completely closed out of the app, restarted my phone again, highlighted the word and listened to the incorrect pronunciation again, rechecked that the word would pronounce correctly in the spoken content tab, and changed to different Siri voices with no luck. My phone did this fine with another custom pronunciation I put in along with the other three words I tried to add but Siri isn’t having it. My iOS is 15.1.3 and I’m using iPhone 11 Pro.
