Voice directions with Siri navigation - doesn’t always work

We understand you're not hearing spoken directions with Apple Maps all the time. We'd be happy to provide information to help you address this.
Make sure it's enabled when you start a new route using these steps:
Things you can do while following a route in Maps on iPhone
"Turn spoken directions on or off
On the map, tap the audio button (for example, 
), then choose an option.
