syncing mail messages to new macbookair

I've got a macbookpro, and iPhone, and a new macbookair. I moved all the settings from the macbookpro to the air. (I use them both) I get all my mail on the macbookair, but the sent messages don't show up on my iphone or macbookpro and the messages I've read or deleted on the macbookair show up as unread on the macbookpro and iphone. How do I get them to all sync up?

Hi checkers!

It sounds like your email is not syncing properly across your devices. What is the email provider for the account that isn't syncing properly? If the account type for your email account is POP instead of IMAP, this would be expected behavior. You can read more about setting up an email account here:

Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Cheers!

Hi checkers!

Thanks for clarifying that. Please try removing the email account from your Mac, then setting it up again:

Add an email account to Mail on your Mac

If your email provider is iCloud, you can contact Apple Support if your email still isn't syncing:

Contact Apple Support

If you have a different email provider, you would want to contact them for assistance.

Cheers!
