Spoke with Apple Support person last week re: speakers for new Mac mini. Home pod mini was suggested, bought it from Apple. Now it appears that it's only for iphone and ipad, not for Mac mini as desktop. It lights up, no setup screen, no Siri, nothing. Never had Mac before, misplaced iphone SE, now have Android Samsung A-12. HELP !

On Apple Support person's rec bought Home pod Mini to provide speaker to new Mac mini. Now seeing iot only applies to iphone, ipad. Wutzup ?
