Delete Apple Watch Move & Exercise Minutes, Stand hours, and Awards/Records

For some reason my Apple Watch logged an extremely long workout. I deleted the workout, but then it also removed my move and exercise minutes for the day from my actual 34 minute run. When I tried to manually edit to replace those move hours, it doubled up again and created another long activity that now has excessive move and exercise minutes, stand hours, and even now created new awards and records.

How can I edit each of these things individually without having to completely erase my other activity history?

I use my apple watch religiously for workouts and rely on that data to track my progress. Any help is appreciated.

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.
