I am wondering, I have an apple phone and use Facebook, Amazon, etc, If I join apple cloud + will I be able to use these as well on my new lap top?

Yes, you will be able to use Facebook and Amazon on your Mac or laptop using iCloud+. To the best of my knowledge both have apps for MacOS. You will also be able to use both via a browser such as Safari or Chrome.

Note, if you have iCloud+ and are using Safari on your Apple device, there is an option for Private Relay. However, I don't believe this is on by default (it is still in beta last I checked). Private Relay's privacy enhancement could affect connection to a few websites but I have seen very few that this effects. Facebook and Amazon haven't been affected in my experience..

Use the Same Apple ID:

As long as this MacBook Air is associated to the same Apple ID as you iPhone, then yes, it is expected to work.
