Thanks for getting back with us about this, roulatönbekici.
Let's try these steps next:Clear the history and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.Go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Experimental Features, turn off any Experimental Features you may have on.Restart your iPhone once more (Restart your iPhone).
Let us know if we can help with anything else at all or if this doesn't settle your issue. Thanks and have a fabulous day!
Got the same issue after update. This happened to me for the second time. First time was after 15.0 update but I was able to turn off "GPU Process: Media" thing and it helped. Looks like they removed this option after 15.4 update just like rohit-almelkar said here. But why lol?
I tried everything. Clearing cache and cookies from Safari, hard phone reset and privacy mode enabled but nothing can solve this problem I guess. I even tried other web browser but the video player can't be different than Safari one. Maybe restoring iPhone could help but I won't sacrifice my data for this
Looks like we have to wait for the fix. Till this time we can't play any video from Safari which is hilarious. Fix your OS Apple!
I spoke to the customer support team, and found that there’s no solution to my query as of now.
It’s a technical issue, wish I could rollback to the older ios updates (which is also not possible). Now we gotta wait until they fix it.
Yep. Sadly I got the iPhone 7 too. Looks like they want us to buy a new phone and squeeze more money
I'll try to downgrade my iOS back to 15.0 cause I ain't got money for a new phone
Apple is trashy nowadays 🗑
@Apple has completely failed to deliver its promises. They aren’t providing assistance to the older models, as and when required (although these models are still within its official support periods).
If this keeps continuing, then whom are we supposed to complain and get our issues resolved?
Our only hope is #ElonMusk, I wish he buys #Apple soon and orders to fix every bug 🐞 on this iOS.
Sorry, but not sorry #TimCook
The solution is stop buying Apple products. It’s unthinkable have this issue for more than 6 months!
this is programmed obsolescence, if they force me to buy something new even if my hardware works, well I’ll make sure it won’t be Apple. It’s the same I’ve experienced with iPad, MacBook Pro and now the iPhone…
Thank you very much for your reply
I followed all the steps but still when I play videos on safari it only shows a black screen no video works on all websites
I pressed solved by mistake
Thanks for your help I just followed all these steps but it’s still not working.
roulatönbekici,
Since you're still experiencing the issue, we'd recommend reaching out for additional support for your iPhone here: Get Support
Take care.
None of the above steps will work.
Because Apple has removed GPU process media toggle option, from the Safari-advance-experimental features permanently in the 15.4
please fix it asap !
So, 15.4.1 update and still same issue lol. They fixed battery but forgot about black screen glitch.
Wondering how long we have to wait till they fix it.
15.5 update and still no fix lol
Three months without playing videos in Safari 😩
I guess this is happening for older iPhones like mine iPhone 7 hence the fix won’t come
