HomeKit getting No Response with 15.4 & 12.3

After updating my iPhone 12 Pro, iPad Pro, and 2021 MBP to the latest software my accessories in the Home App on all devices are not responding. My wife has NOT updated her iPhone or iPad and she IS able to connect to our accessories. I have as many as 10 Koogeek smart plugs, 2 Legrand smart light switches, and 2 Wemo smart light switches.

There have been no other changes to home network. It seems to only affect my devices with iOS 15.4 and Monterey 12.3.

Surprisingly I have solved my problem! In my house I have 3 Apple TVs. I don't know which one is considered the "hub" unit that helps control my Home accessories. But what must have happened is I updated one of the Apple TVs to the latest TVos software but not the other two. It was at this time my updated iPhone, iPad and MBP would not control my Home accessories. Then it dawned on me that I should ensure the other Apple TVs get updated. After they got their update my iPhone, iPad, and MBP magically started working again!

I hope this helps others out there!

Hi there, skinnysig645.

Are there updates available for your smart devices? They may need a compatibility update to continue working with your newly updated devices. Checking on the manufacturer's websites may help you determine if that is available for you.

If not, it might be helpful to unpair and re-pair your devices with your iPhone & Mac.

Let us know if we can help with anything else at all or if this doesn't settle your issue. Thanks and have a fabulous day!

I did do a couple firmware updates. But this hasn't fixed my issues. I truly believe this is an Apple software problem. Every time I go to the Home App on my iOS devices and my MBP every accessory goes to "Updating" mode and it never updates.

I don't think I know how to unpair these devices and I really don't want to because they are still working on my wife's iOS devices since she has NOT upgraded to iOS 15.4
