Audible App & Bluetooth previously worked

I can’t get my Audible App & Bluetooth speaker to connect with my new iPhone. They did work perfectly previously. The Bluetooth easily connected to my EarPods so the Bluetooth appears to work. It’s Audible App that is causing the issue I believe. I thought it may just be that it was competing with the other phone (husbands) also connected to the Bluetooth speaker. But that phone was disconnected and it still would not pair. So I had no issue with connecting to Audible/Bluetooth w/my previous iPhone . Thanks for any advice
