CarPlay microphone not working

I have a Toyota 2019 RAV4 Hybrid and had the exactly same issue with CarPlay as reported in the forum and others *Reddit etc.). One solution proposed is to disconnect the RAV4 12V auxiliary battery for 30 minutes - which is quite a lot of work. A better solution proposed on other forums is simply to pull out the 7.5 Amp DCM fuse in the interior fuse box on the left hand side under the steering wheel. The fuse box is awkward to get at and the plastic cover is a little hard to get off, but the Toyota Manual shows how to get it off (push the tab at the top and then release the plastic cover by pulling away from the top). The location of the DCM fuse is shown on the inside of the plastic cover. You will need a small needle nose pliers to remove the fuse. Wait a minute of two (I waited about 10 minutes) and then push the fuse back in (you can do this with your fingers). The microphone immediately worked again - saving an expensive trip the dealer.
