Then if any of your wireless devices are having issues connecting to it, you may want to consider disabling this feature. Again it is a very weak security measure that can easily be thwarted.

A "hidden" network would indicate that the wireless network your iPhone is trying to connect to is not broadcasting its BSSID. This is intended by the network owner to increase security ... but can easily be thwarted. Regardless, some wireless devices can have issues trying to connect to these hidden network and would require that you know both the network's name (SSID) and wireless security password.
