Battery life may be less than expected for a short period of time after an iOS device is updated or restored. This is not unusual as the device needs to download app data, sync contacts, index search results and in general complete the digital housekeeping. Decline in battery health is not linear. It can stay the same for months, then drop several points. How old is your iPhone 11? Expected decline in battery health is about 1% a month. Your battery is considered fit for use until it drops below 80%.

There's essentially no reason to check battery health unless 1) your warranty is about to expire and you want to check if you need to get a new battery before it does or 2) your phone is not working properly, particularly if it's slow and lagging.
