Removing a person from the Mac I have a Mac computer. I’ve no idea how it works really, my x left it here. We have 4 profiles on it, one of which is them, and so I want to delete his profile. I don’t know how to do this, which is the first issue. the second issue is that mostly we used his profile for ease, so some things I would want to delete that he has saved or produced but other items I would wish to keep, and again I don’t know how to do this. can anyone help? also, are there any easy to use guides around so I can teach myself how to use the Mac? Might as well get use out of it if I can

Hi,

First of all, you need to login as system admin.

System Preferences > Users&Groups, then click the lock to make changes.

Select person, we say User, then click "-" to delete user.
