Synchronizing Audio and Video during specific regions

Thanks for your patience - I used the exact settings from your previous reply and now see a rendered video in the project browser. Are these the final steps?

1. Delete the original video in the timeline
2. Drag the rendered video into the timeline
3. Drag the professional audio track into the timeline

That's what I did, I selected the audio and video in the project browser > right click > sync function.

A new video clip is now available in the project browser window.

If you have a document with detailed step by step instructions that you can attach it would be appreciated.

I placed two markers - one on the audio at point X and a second marker on the video at point Y, but the Synchronize Clips function is disabled. I need to align those two point.
