iPad Pro 11 2021 Missing Some Sounds or Sound Effects in Games

Hello here, searching just shows me tons of answers to "NO SOUND"

I do in fact have sound, but not all sounds, or sound effects.

Most noticeable in Angry Birds 2 or Genshin Impact.

Sometimes birds sounds, hitting sounds, explosion etc are missing .

In Genshin, sword sounds, voices, voice effects, walking etc. As said sometimes, not all the time.

It is not consistent on Genshin, was buggy on Angry Birds 2 (stopped playing)

Sometimes I think even in videos, like youtube not all speakers are playing but when I check, all of them are.

Hi there nedamdam,

If certain sounds are missing from these third party apps, let’s first ensure they are fully up to date using these steps:

1. Open the App Store.

2. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.

3. Scroll to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All.

Let’s also ensure your iPad is updated to the latest version of iPadOS. Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch walks you through how to do this:

1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.

2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.

3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.

4. If you see two software update options available, choose the one that you want to install.

If this continues after everything is updated, then we would advise contacting the app developers of these apps to get the best assistance going forward.

Since this issue is only happening with installed apps, you will need to work with the app developers directly for a resolution.

no, its also happening with not installed apps.(◔_◔)

I will also have to contact app-destroyers indirectly for aversion.

Seriously guys I appreciate that you are trying to help? And I said, I contacted developers.

As said, sometimes I have a feeling not all speakers are firing, also in Videos/Youtube, which is why I sometimes think that in those games sounds are not heard because they are not played on the dedicated speaker.

However when I test them, I can hear them producing sound, so they are not dead. So my best guess this is a software related issue.

The Problem is, there is thousands of people playing games on this device, but I was not able to find anybody with similar issue.... nowhere. I am guessing I am just searching wrong... but all posts are with Sound issues = No Sound.

As said, sound is happening, through all speakers, just not all of the soundstage, it also took me a while till I could figure out, that something was wrong, now I cant unhear it ...

Thank you. But this does not help me.

I got through different ipad os versions and beta.

Ofc I have everything updated.

And I tried to contact developers with no success .
