Profiles/MDM asking for making changes even if the computer is personal or self admin

I realized there are issues circulating around this Profiles/MDM pop-up asking for making changes.

After quite a bit of troubleshooting and talking to helpless Apple Care, the issue was found with Settings>Profiles>Xfinity certificate which is used for Hotspot wifi.

Just delete the setting by using "-" and the pop-up comes back again asking for a password. Login and the Xfinity profile gets deleted and the annoying pop-up stops.

If you need the Xfinity profile for future hotspots, you can sign in to the Profile/MDM permission by allowing it.

I am guessing Xfinity renews their profile certificate or gets expired which is why those prompts are asked. It is good to assume its a clever malware but before you delete that, you can scan your system using malwarebytes.
