Is there yet a fix for the delayed notifications on iPhone?

So, I'm experiencing this as well, but not nearly as badly as all of the people on here have stated in previous threads. I have the iPhone 13 Mini with the latest iOS and the problem still persists unless I change my Wi-Fi connection to a 2.4g speed.

Is anyone having this issue on cellular data as well as Wi-Fi? Or is it mainly a Wi-Fi issue? I don't seem to have it on cellular data but I'll keep a lookout for it.

So apparently what I am experiencing is slight miscommunications, the routers apparently do have problems communicating at times, the provider said even his does that sometimes. So I think that's why I get slight delays. Not as bad, but just in case there was in fact a problem he brought me the same model but a different router just in case there was an actual problem with the other one. So far so good though! I guess I'm done here!

Hi there GreekInBrItAlia,

So that we can gather more info, does this happen with notifications from all apps or only specific apps? Does it happen on every 5 GHz network you connect your iPhone to?

If all app notifications are affected and it happens with multiple networks, then we would recommend reaching out to Apple Support to get the best assistance going forward.

Well, I'm honestly thinking it's a router issue, as when I was living with my parents it never seemed to drop. I had to be connected to the 2.4 G connection there because the 5 G was too weak, but even being on the 2.4 G here in my tiny apartment is problematic. I'm thinking about changing my router first to see if that fixes it, I'll post an update once I receive it and let you know!

I'd had a tech come yesterday, and he said that apparently where I live, the cables and connections are very old, and in my case, the cables were not connecting well. It had still been acting up after he'd left, however, as a last resort earlier today I unplugged the router and plugged it back in. Finally, everything seems to be working! He'll be checking back Friday but at least for now anyway, it all seems good!

So those of you who have been blaming apple, make sure you know your router isn't in need of an upgrade, make sure all of your connections are good and there's nothing interfering with the signal, (some companies are just horrible providers all around), and then if the problem still persists for you, then maybe think about sending a request for maybe a new device or if you have apple care, send it for repair before making an assumption that it's just Apple's fault.

I'm not fully positive yet it's fixed, I'll keep tabs on it. If there are no updates sooner, you'll know it's been fixed for me!

Okay, so no one came in the end or called me, and what I don't understand is why sometimes my router's app will sometimes say things like, "The app cannot connect to the modem" when it appears everything is fine. Of course the agent I talked to on the phone today blames apple. I guess there's really no point in my discussing this here, the last thing I'll say is I do not have this issue on mobile data. I wondered if it had to do with WPA3 not being an option on my router, but it is said to WPA-Personal and WPA2PSK AES and this still occurs. I am curious though if anyone has this issue with mobile data when using their phone out and about and have a decent signal. It's funny that my WiFi shows a signal but nothing comes through.
