NetSearchSystem Malware

So I've been having trouble with this extension called "NetSearchSystem" on my Chrome browser for a few months now. I'll be using Chrome and about once every 4-5 days all of my Chrome browsers will get closed out. When I go to open them back up, my search engine is changed to "NetSearchSystem," which forces me to use Yahoo. I've been going into my extensions and deleting it, which solves the problem temporarily, but now it's not even giving me that option. I've been into my System Preferences --> Profiles to delete it before, but it doesn't give me that option anymore either. I'm sure I've downloaded something that has ties to this, but I'm not sure what; I'd love to find out so I can delete that as well. I feel pretty hopeless at this point because I can't find anything online about it, nor can I find the source of the issue. I'm a full-time student who uses Chrome 24/7, so ANY help would be extremely appreciated.
