Hotspot error code -3900

My 1st gen Apple TV won’t connect to my iPhone se through hotspot keeps giving a wrong password and no option to put password in

code is (-3900)

the iPhone and Apple TV are both up to date with software

iPhone update affects my hotspot to my Apple TV After a recent update on my iPhone I cannot hotspot Wi-Fi from my phone to my Apple TV it keeps coming up with a password error there is no option to put a password in how do I fix this?

Password incorrect- didn't even enter a password When trying to connect my apple tv to my iPhone hotspot, the error message "Password incorrect- 100" pops up when I select my iPhone wifi as the source. It doesn't default to a password screen to allow me to enter a password, just automatically shows the "incorrect" message. I've tried resetting the appletv, restoring factory settings, everything I can think of... still error message. Any help?
