I have enough storage on my iPhone 7 to update to the iOS 15.4, but it still says I need 2.02 GB of available storage but my phone is only using 29.6. Why won’t my phone let me install the update?

Is your iPhone 7 total storage capacity 32GB? If YES then you do not have enough space. Create at least 6GB of free storage space to download, verify and install the iOS update.
