Which exact piece of hardware disallows to implement the feature on iphones 10 and 11? You don't have to be extra specific. Please just provide a satisfying answer like: "camera lenses are not so sharp to scan eyes' area only" or something like that.

Currently, your mysterious and enigmatic explanation makes me think that either:

  • you think that apple users are not very smart and won't understand basics of technology they are using
  • or this feature is just a money grab - you won't get it till you spend additional money on a newer device (although you don't need it)

Both possibilities are rather not pro-consumer approach, aren't they, right apple?

  1. I am not attacking anyone, just asking question out loud because as a user I have a right to know why my device is not supporting this feature
  2. I chose this post to reply to, because it is marked as apple recommended. I didn't mean to offend anyone.
  3. Speculation about why or why Apple did what they did is prohibited here - sorry - i missed this part in terms and conditions. Could you please provide the link to it? Thanks in advance.

You are not addressing Apple here. This is a user to user support forum and Apple does not participate here. We are all users like you and volunteer to respond to questions here and provide the best information we possibly can. It isn't necessary to attack Raicya, as they are a volunteer too. No one here is an Apple employee.

As far as the reason, no one here has information on that. You were provided with the information from the Related Article that states it works with iPhone 12 and above. Speculation about why or why Apple did what they did is prohibited here. If Apple had a reason, they are not sharing it with anyone else. The only info you will get is what is contained in the Related Article.
