Apple Weather App - Tenerife discrepancy

Can anyone tell me why this issue has never been sorted? I’ve seen comments dating back to April 2019 about this and people I know have recently avoided booking a holiday to Tenerife based on consistently low temperatures ranging from 3C to 5C. Is it the Met data from Tenerife which is wrong or a problem with the app itself? Searching ‘Santa Cruz de Tenerife’ or ‘Costa Adeje’ usually gives accurate temperatures but ‘Tenerife’ is completely wrong.

All the places in the attached photo are on the island of Tenerife so I suspect the top one is very wrong.
