Messages and Face Time

Since the latest Monterey update (12.3) I can't use messages or face time.

It prompts me to sign in and when I do it's on for a few secs. then I get kicked out and need to start over.

Like it's stuck in a loop.

No issues on an older mac with Catalina.

All solved.

After several options, including wiping the hard drive and reinstall Catalina OS, it needed a call to the support center and about 2hrs. The told me it was a communication error that could only be fixed on their end.

Check out the steps below, as those may help resolve the issue you're encountering when trying to sign into Messages or FaceTime on your MacBook Air:

"Reset NVRAM.

In case the issue is related to any of the settings stored in NVRAM, reset NVRAM on your Mac.

Check for third-party software

If you installed firewall, security, VPN, or other third-party networking software, make sure that the software isn't blocking any of the network ports used by iMessage and FaceTime. If necessary, disable the software and then try using your iMessage account or FaceTime again.
