playing a dvd with TS files

Audio_TS and Video_TS

Is the standard content of any DVD, commercial or otherwise.

If your built-in DVD player won't play it, try the free VLC Player from http://www.videolan.org/ as this plays almost anything that DVD Player might not.

VIDEO.TS is the only file needed for audio and video on DVDs. AUDIO.TS is for audiophiles keen on digital audio players. Last night I was watching 'Twilight'. It seemed very dark on DVD Player. Its display on Mplayer, however, seemed perfect.

You have posted numerous threads on your problem playing DVDs, but you never follow up describing the steps you try. Here are the steps:

1. Put the disc in your Mac
2. Open "DVD Player" from the Applications folder.
3. Report back here.

iDVD has nothing to do with playing DVDs.
