i am facing icloud show me that out of space, actually i just i still hv 1GB+ space for that. Any reason, icloud showing out of space while doing backup?
fyi, i m using free icloud service with 5GB space. I have icloud auto backup 2.9gb and whatsapp backup 700mb. everytime icloud auto backup will show out of space.

This is because there is more than 5GB of iCloud space that is needed by your iPhone to complete the backup. Your iPhone senses that only 5GB is available on iCloud and then does not proceed with the backup. Your last backup may have been 2.9GB but that does not reflect the present backup size requirement.

I hv try many time, once i delete the whatsapp backup, the icloud backup can proceed well. and after backup my phone backup also ard 2.9, or 3.0 only. I hv try few time, always running well after i delete the whatsapp backup. of cause i always maintain my whatsapp data ard 700~750mb.
No, there are no bugs in iCloud that would cause that. Please read Axel Foley’s post again. You can easily solve this by paying 99¢ for 50 GB of space in iCloud.
oh ok. i just thinking of still enough for us to use, then not yet pay for the 50GB. since all of u know better than me. then i will consider use money to solve the prob. hjahahahahaahahahahah
Then the culprit is WhatsApp (and maybe another app along with it) I am not sure why WhatsApp shows 700mb of data and how it computes that. You may want to try inquiring with the 👉 WhatsApp Support Site.

possible got bugs at icloud? previously (b4 iOS15 or late 14.5) all is fine, even space occupied till 4.8GB, also nvr mention out of space.
