Hey Kikib3ar,
Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
After setting up iCloud Photos on your Windows PC, you should have access to your photos. For information on how to view them, click here: Download and view iCloud Photos on your Windows computer.
"Download and view iCloud Photos on your Windows computer
When you set up Photos in iCloud for Windows, you can see photos and videos stored in iCloud Photos directly on your computer. If you have iCloud for Windows version 7, you can view photos stored in My Photo Stream. You can also view photos in apps such as Microsoft Photos after they’re downloaded to your computer.
Before getting started, find out which version of iCloud for Windows you have.
iCloud for Windows version 11 or later
You see thumbnails of your photos and videos until you download them. If a photo or video is edited or deleted on an Apple device or on iCloud.com, the changes appear here automatically.
iCloud for Windows version 10
After you set up iCloud Photos, new photos and videos you add to iCloud Photos on other devices are automatically downloaded to your PC. If a photo or video is edited or deleted on an Apple device or on iCloud.com, the changes appear here automatically.
You can manually download older photos and videos by year.
iCloud for Windows version 7
When you turn on iCloud Photos or My Photo Stream, new photos and videos you add to iCloud on other devices are automatically downloaded to your PC. If a photo or video is changed on another device or on iCloud.com, you need to download it again to see the updates.
You can manually download older photos and videos by year.
Note: If you edit a photo or video on your Windows computer, those edits don’t appear on your Apple devices or on iCloud.com. If you want the edited file added to iCloud Photos, upload it as a new file."
You will see a list of your photos, however you will not see them in albums as you do on your iPhone. If you would like to submit feedback or suggestions to Apple, you may do so here: Product Feedback.
Take care.
