Purchased music not available

Some of my purchased music that I have listened to in the past is not light gray and is saying that it’s not available in my country or region

Why the Error:

This all has to do with licensing between Apple and the music studio. So, if you are no longer having access to these purchases, then the licensing has been discontinued. So, you no longer have access to it. Losing access to it is something you would have agreed to upon opening your Apple ID.

So, Contact Apple Store Support:

If something does not look correct here, then contact Apple Support. See if this needs to be fixed, as it may be an issue with the purchase database.

Apple Contact Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there, as necessary
  • Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
