since we bought our new 13’s , we can’t get the bright to stay bright . We want them to stay ALWAYS at the brightness we select unless we decide to dim them . Everyday, several times a day, I have to go in and change it to brighter because the screen is to dim. Why can’t we CHOOSE what we want?

You can get inside settings and turn Auto-Brightness OFF. Below is how to do that.
Open Settings ➡️ Accessibility ➡️ Display & Text Size ➡️ Auto Brightness: Set this to OFF.
