i have iPhone 12. Tried numerous things through provider but still drop calls no signal delay getting signal where I have to turn airplane on and off. Have a new sim, Wi-Fi calling on and 15.4. Everyone I talk to with a 12 has same or similar issue. Have called apple number of times. Something needs to be done to address. Thinking of going to different phone. Son has google pixel with no issue same provider. We can be next to each other and his works, mine doesn’t.

I personally would not get a pixel phone. Samsung makes better devices.
I had no issues at all with my iPhone 12 when I had one.
