iPhone Antenna

Is Apple actually fixing the internal antenna problem so that new future iPhones delivered do not have the same problem? And when will that happen?

I totally disagree. There is most definitely an issue with the antenna. I am a huge apple product user and fan, but the iphone 4 definitely has issues. This is the first iphone I can wholeheartly not endorse. For me it is a glorified camera, video with flash (which I love). However, the added weight, size and signal issues make me frown.

Does the discounted iPhone with 18 dollar upgrade fee mean, when the new generation comes out from a year from
Now I can do the 200 plus 18 ????

I agree, it does have an issue, if you touch it in one specific spot and leave your finger there for 10 seconds or more it will drop the signal. And I posted the ways you can ameliorate that problem. Put a case on it and it has a better antenna than its predecessors. Antennagate has come and gone.

What added size?

So, did I not understand you. Are you looking to upgrade to the iP4 now? I thought you already had one and were wondering if you'd qualify for the next generation phone next summer? If it's the later, checking now may not provide an accurate answer. It will be best to check as next summer approaches.......

Tamara,
First off let me say I have an iPhone 3g that I have had for almost 2 years which gave me no problems.
I bought an iphone 4 and I could not make a phone call from my house.
It did not matter if I lightly gripped it, or even had a case on.
I wish people like you would not comment on things you know little about.
I am not stupid- I held the phone as I always did.
This was unacceptable-I returned it.
