Apple Pencil paired and charged, but not writing

Hi. My Apple Pencil is paired with my iPad, showing in settings and is charged, but isn’t writing (at all).

I’ve tried re-pairing it, and rebooting the iPad.

Make sure the tip of the Pencil is screwed on securely and snug.
