iPad home screen

A background sound icon appeared on my husband's iPad the other day. We can not figure out how to remove it from the home screen. Only help we can find on line is how to turn it on or off.

Hello Guapy123,

That looks like the AssistiveTouch feature. This page has more information about it: Use AssistiveTouch on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

To turn it off try these steps:

1.Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch, then select AssistiveTouch to turn it off.

2.Use "Hey Siri" to say, “Turn off AssistiveTouch.”

3.Go to Settings > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut and turn off AssistiveTouch.

We hope this helps get you pointed in the right direction.

Take care.

both photos show the "floating icon" on the middle right hand side of the screen. This is there if the screen is locked or open. It will move with the cursor but only along the edges. We can not figure out a way to get if on the screen. we have silenced it but it's annoying on the screen and we did not put it there

I'm not sure how to be any more specific as we do not really know what it is or how it got there.

Thank you
