I have a code for a digital download of a film I'm trying to redeem through Apple TV. However when I select Redeem from the Account menu, nothing happens. Is this where you redeem digital downloads or is it only for Apple TV subscription?

If the code is valid for the iTunes Store, then that is indeed where you should redeem.
