NSPOSIXErrorDomain:40

It is from 2 days that some web pages (in particular Google.it) do not load, instead a white page appears with this error: "Safari cannot open the page. The operation could not be completed. Message too long. NSPOSIXErrorDomain:40". It only happens when I'm using the LAN cable and Safari. When I switch to the Wi-Fi connection, this error disappears.

The Safari version is 15.4 with a MacBook Pro M1 and MacOs 12.3.

How can I fixed this problem?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.1

I'm having this problem too.

Sites like Google, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube... do not enter.

I did the following experiments that didn't work:

- I changed the DNS of the ISP router;

- I restarted the ISP router several times;

- I turned off private relay (websites and trackers).

- Removed extensions

- Cleared caches and cookies

Experiments that worked:

- Accessing the same sites through Chrome;

- Using Safari in private mode;

- I used the internet from the iPhone (LTE);

- And the change that had the best effect was to disable the Firewall in the system preferences.

Thank you very much for these advices. I've already used Chrome, but since I prefer to use Safari, disabling the Firewall works better.

However, I still don't understand why the Wi-Fi connection works when using the same network as the LAN connection, which doesn't work, so suddenly. It is a little bit frustrating...
