HDCP error with Apple TV & Hulu

Solved for me - after trying every available possible fix - unplug, replug, new cable, restart router/modem, turn off, turn on, sign in / out, delete the app, add the app all I did this morning was go to:

settings >

Video and Audio >

reset video settings

Now it works. Just not sure for how long.

Apple TV HDCP error on Hulu - 2 years no fix? I am unable to play certain Hulu content on my Apple TV due to an HDCP error. The first post I found regarding this issue was in May 2021 and it is now June 2023. Is this ever going to be fixed? APPLE please take note: Interestingly, I have no issues at all playing the exact same content using another streaming device on the same TV.

HDCP error on Apple TV Thursday nite 5/6/21 watched HULU perfectly...the AppleTV updated overnight and Friday 5/7/21 I can't watch HULU, Netflix, Disney+, or HBO Max due to some HDMI cable issue that popped up all of a sudden within a 12 hour period! Now I have a message on the screen saying my cables are not the right cables and I can not view the content. I have replaced the HDMI cables, updated the TV set also - and lastly, I reset my AppleTV along with reinstalling all my applications, still nothing. With an AppleTV that is only 16 months old, I should not be having this issue overnight, but if anyone has some type of suggestions other than what I have done, please send them my way, or is this a software issue that is affecting only certain streaming apps?

HDCP Error I keep getting an HDCP error; I have disconnected Apple TV and reconnected and it temporarily resumes working and then goes back to issue.
