HDCP error on Apple TV
Thursday nite 5/6/21 watched HULU perfectly...the AppleTV updated overnight and Friday 5/7/21 I can't watch HULU, Netflix, Disney+, or HBO Max due to some HDMI cable issue that popped up all of a sudden within a 12 hour period! Now I have a message on the screen saying my cables are not the right cables and I can not view the content.
I have replaced the HDMI cables, updated the TV set also - and lastly, I reset my AppleTV along with reinstalling all my applications, still nothing.
With an AppleTV that is only 16 months old, I should not be having this issue overnight, but if anyone has some type of suggestions other than what I have done, please send them my way, or is this a software issue that is affecting only certain streaming apps?
