Hi,

The HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-In-One Printer is listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support as a model with support for the driverless AirPrint technology. An AirPrint-enabled printer should be compatible with macOS Monterey without the need for additional software, provided that the printer and the computer are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router). AirPrint does not necessarily require a wireless connection; it is also possible to wire the printer (Ethernet) to one of the LAN ports of a router.

Have you tried adding the printer to use AirPrint?

If there are difficulties with AirPrint, and if all settings are OK, one could try the following procedure:

Power off the Wi-Fi router, the printer, the Mac, and all other devices/computers. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the Mac. Finally, power on all other devices/computers.

Hello Distance09,

It can help to ensure that you have the latest software/firmware updates for your printer installed. We were able to help locate that on the HP site here: HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads

Be sure to also check System Preferences > Software Update on the Mac for any available updates.

After that, you may find the general printer troubleshooting tips here: Solve printing problems on Mac

If these don't help, the next step would be to reset the printing system:

1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Printers & Scanners
2. Press and hold the Control key as you click in the list at the left, then choose “Reset printing system” from the menu that appears.
3. After you reset the printing system, the list of printers in Printers & Scanners preferences is empty.
Re-add any printers.

Lastly, if nothing above has helped, you may try reaching out to HP support for further guidance. The first link will have a 'Support' tab to check out for info on that.

Cheers.
