Locked iPhone

I exceeded the number of attempts to use the correct passcode. Now my phone is unavailable and appears offline when doing “Find My iPhone”. I’m not able to turn it off or erase it. What can I do to regain access?

Follow the steps in the Related Article above your post. You will need to connect the device to a computer and restore it.
