Deleting folders from gmail
How do you do this?

Are you in the Gmail app? I do not see anything that mentions that. You may need to log into the web access for Gmail and delete folders there. You can contact Google Mail Support and ask them that question. The Gmail app is not an Apple product and they will provide support for it.
